Position Summary:
Ensure the supplier quality of the part meets specifications and monitoring the supplier performance of quality of the part.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare full dimension reports & Initial Sample Inspections (ISI) reports to support the release of the new part or relocated parts, new country versions, new colors, etc.
- Creation of ISI & II test plans for new relocated parts or for new models & Conduct training related for the test plan & measurement method.
- Support analysis of existing part II & ISI plans and their optimization and update ISI Matrix for all part release inhouse part
- Define jigs and fixtures to support measurement of parts and to optimize the use of QA equipment.
- Provide proactive and constructive feedback to system and product problems with the aim of corrective actions and evaluation reports for prevention and correction to supplier.
- Support on the continuous improvements and provide technical advice or proposal/methods to the management regarding productivity/efficiency, innovation, cost savings, quality of products and other defined performance indicators.
- Support on the process audits in-house during ISI and conduct process audit supplier, communication with supplier. Validation of IQC function tester and provide pilot run report for any new part/component validations
- Support 6S implementation within QA department
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and electrical.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same position.
- Experience in using measuring device (CMM, Smart Scope, Caliper, etc) and able to read drawing.
- Basic ISO and Food Safety Standard, internal audit and basic SEA
- Fluent in English reading, speaking and written, Solid skill for Microsoft Excel, good knowledge of office suite.
- Strong Project management skills and ability to perform under high pressure.
- Result oriented and good trouble shooting capability.
